COP27 Meetings with Small Island States

Italy's growing commitment to cooperation in the Pacific area was marked by several important appointments within the framework of COP 27. Starting with the important invitation received by our country at the Side Event "Launching of Micronesia's NDC at COP27" held in the Pacific Manoa Nlu Pavillon. The speech of the Director General and Special Envoy for the Climate, Alessandro Modiano, recalled the support offered by Italy to the update of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to reduce emissions, presented by Micronesia in line with the Guidelines adopted in 2018 at the COP24 in Katowice through the project funded by MASE "Support for the development of the Federated State of Micronesia's updated nationally determined contribution".
