Conference “The Natural and Cultural Capital: the Future of Europe” and EU Biodiversity and Nature Directors meeting

Rome 24-25-26 November 2014

Within the activities for the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union the Ministry for the Environment organized on November 24^th the Conference “The Natural and Cultural Capital: the Future of Europe” at the Botanical Garden of Rome and, on 25^th-26^th November, the informal EU Biodiversity and Nature Directors meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 2014. The meeting aimed at strengthening the cooperation on implementation of the EU Biodiversity Strategy 2020 and on the priority issues in the field of the biodiversity.

On November 25^th participants visited the Tenuta di Castelporziano, estate of the President of the Italian Republic, a Natura 2000 site.
