During the work of the 27^th Conference of the Parties, (COP), of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, (UNFCCC), an event was held in the Italy Pavilion. This event celebrated the conclusion of the first year of the capacity building program "Italy - AOSIS fellowship". The results of the Program, which provided for 10 young professionals from 10 Small Island Developing States, lectures, activities carried out at the SIDS Permanent Representations in New York, and the participation in international negotiations by offering the opportunity to follow the proceedings of the UN meetings scheduled for 2022, were all highlighted.
